Yes the Wandong Country Music Festival will be going ahead, as a fund raiser for the bushfire benefit and the CFA who have worked so tirelessly to save this community and many others within the shire of Mitchell. The grass is black and the background razed, but that wont stop Wandong. There will be plenty of raffles, including an acoustic guitar, a framed Tshirt signed by all the artists, to name a few. Get ready for the silent auctions for a 2000 litre water tank, a metal sculpture hand made by a local from the burnt remains of his shed, and a Melbourne football club book-150 years, signed by all the current players.
